NEPTUNE WATER REMEDIATION SERVICES ANNOUNCES THE FISK NEPTUNE PROCESSOR FOR OIL & GAS WATER REMEDIATION

ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE (ZLD) SOLUTION RESPONSIVE TO ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

MIDLAND, TX – Neptune Water Remediation Services announced production of its Fisk Neptune Processor today.  The announcement coincides with the manufacturing and production of the company’s water treatment and reclamation technologies for the mining and oil & gas industries.

The Fisk Neptune Processor provides for waste water treatment, pollution control, brine removal and produced water processing to optimize water resources and reduce fresh water consumption.

The Fisk Neptune Processor has been successfully tested for breakdown of oil field produced water which further relates to oily barge ballast water, drill fluids, gas and oil pipeline entrained water and refinery process water. Treatment end products are coalesce-able and biologically inactive with oils and greases super-coagulated.  Fisk Neptune Processor pretreated waste water is subjected to hydro-cyclone vortex, skimming and biological oxidation as required for the conditioning necessary to meet wastewater discharge standards to include Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) requirement.

Mark A. Skoda, CEO stated, “American innovation in the oil and gas sector has provided our country with the energy needed to power a 21st century economy.  However, the need for water and the disposal of produced water from wellhead operations is becoming a major problem in drought stricken states.   More importantly, our flexible deployment and zero liquid discharge capabilities, are unique in the market and provides Blackstar and our clients with a competitive advantage.”

Various new configurations of separation technology have expanded oily-wastewater treatment options, including everything from hydro-cyclones to coalescing plate filters, dissolved air flotation and even the use of ultrafiltration to separate and concentrate the individual waste streams.  While these methods offer good process response through a wide range of flows, and can meet typical 1OOmg/1 total hydrocarbon cleanup regulations, they are incapable of meeting proposed environmental protection legislation.

Brian Fisk, Founder & CTO stated, “The Fisk Neptune Processor is a thermally enhanced series of stimulation, which is then processed to recover energy and enhance further processing goals increasing viability. The full gamut of enhanced separation techniques is employed while combining a resource recovery process to develop viable by-products. This style of processing is rare in our industry today.  We believe that our operational efficiency in a ZLD application is both unique and superior to other solutions on the market today.  We are not only reusing dissipated energy through our process to power the unit but also to ensure our ability to operate in cold and freezing environments.”

Fisk further commented, “Neptune Water Remediation Services is working with its manufacturing partner to leverage its North American operations and relationships to bring these solutions to markets where water resources are under stress.  Globalizing these solutions enhances the opportunity while also ensuring optimal use and deployment to the market in a rapidly changing business environment.”
